Josie still amazes us each and every day. Last night, her 5-week-old cousin came for a visit, and Josie quite literally begged to hold him. Once she had little John on her lap, she flatly refused to give him up - each time we suggested to her that it was time to give him back to Grandma, Daddy, or any other adult Josie would hug him tighter. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a toddler her age do that - it was so incredibly cute. Guess she’s stubborn all over - even in loving on her family!
So, last week it was below freezing…by Friday we had a snow-less “snow day”…and by Sunday we were in the hot tub? Go figure. It’s a strange city we live in!
Sophie better watch where she leaves her clothes. There’s a little person around this house who thinks she’s about 3 years older than she is!
Josie wouldn’t take the coat off for at least 30 minutes, while toddling around in large laps around our first floor. So much more fun than watching TV!
Still struggling to catch a smile on camera from Josie. Getting closer, though….!
Can’t you just tell by the look on her face that she’s playing hard-to-get?
A couple of weekends ago both Maddie and Sophie spent an entire Saturday at a Girl Scout camping event, with their respective Daisy troops (the littlest Girl Scouts). They enjoyed it so much more than I even expected, and it was a great experience doing things they don’t usually get to do.
Perhaps we have a future horse whisperer in the family!
Someone is NOT working very hard rowing here. Then again, I wasn’t either, since I was taking the picture.
OK, so maybe toasting pigs-in-a-blanket over the campfire wasn’t THAT fun. All the little girls seemed to be getting a bit scorched themselves here.
Hey mom! Can we do this again soon sometime???
